Who we are and how we help regions
Our story began at the end of 2018, when Škoda established an endowment fund to support the development of the Mladá Boleslav region. The vision was to continue the philanthropic activities of the company's founders — Václav Laurin and Václav Klement. They always acted responsibly, supporting not only their employees and their families, but also helping to create a dignified and inspiring environment for all residents.
Our support has gradually expanded from the Mladá Boleslav region to the Rychnov and Vrchlabí regions as well. In these regions, we help create an environment where people feel good and are motivated to be active and care for their surroundings. We collaborate with municipalities, schools, non-profit organizations, and local residents on projects that strengthen community life, improve education, develop public spaces, and support innovation.
Our mission
We responsibly help create places worth living in across the Mladá Boleslav, Rychnov, and Vrchlabí regions. We support and inspire organizations, local governments, and everyone who wants to change their surroundings for the better.
How we work
Our work is not just about funding projects. We listen to the needs of the regions, connect partners, and help bring good ideas into everyday life. We support the professionalization of non-profit organizations, the development of school leadership, and the creation of places where people can meet and actively participate in what happens around them.
We are also behind the creation of the communication platforms Nové Boleslavsko, Nové Rychnovsko, and Nové Vrchlabsko, which give space to local stories, initiatives, and support open communication in communities.
