NFŠA EDU

We're introducing the EDU programme — a wealth of innovative workshops, inspiring webinars and new knowledge.

NFŠA EDU

Established in 2021 on the initiative of the ŠKODA AUTO Endowment Fund in partnership with AISIS, z. ú., the project's aim is to motivate and support primary schools in the regions where ŠKODA AUTO operates — the Mladá Boleslav, Rychnov, Vrchlabí and Jilemnice areas.

The main objective of the project is to create a learning culture in which children learn with enthusiasm. Through workshops, meetings, round tables and other types of events, the project supports teaching staff and educational leadership in their efforts to make teaching at schools as effective as possible.

Each school that decides to join the project can engage at different levels of intensity according to its current situation and needs.

Schools always choose from three levels — START, ROZJEZD (GET GOING) and JÍZDA (FULL DRIVE).

In the flagship Leadership programme (the cornerstone of the ROZJEZD level), participants in the past year explored the themes of communication, cooperation, community and continuous improvement. Completing the programme was a powerful and often transformational experience for the leadership of individual schools.

And what were their reactions on completing the programme?

“I've already attended many management courses, but this one exceeded my expectations. The exemplary content of all four two-day sessions was accompanied by a steadily growing friendly and creative atmosphere and amplified by the brilliant performance of the lecturers,” says Petr Jindřich, headmaster of the primary school in Vrchlabí on Náměstí Míru.

Petra Čápová from the primary school in Skuhrov nad Bělou adds to Mr Jindřich's words: “We had outstanding lecturers who from the very start brought an incredible level of professionalism and humour, and that's something you don't often get to combine like this. The programme showed me places where we can still move forward, the direction we can still take, the things we can improve. We gradually reached a stage where we started looking forward to each next leadership session.”

In 2022, 35 primary schools were involved in the project. In 2023, a total of 48 primary schools joined.
