First Projects from This Year's Grant Calls Are Coming to Life Across the Regions
In spring we opened the Tady jsem doma and Kultura má zelenou grants, which bring together culture, community and regional identity. We supported a total of 58 projects that help people create, meet and improve the places where we live and work together.
Through the Tady jsem doma programme we supported 41 projects with an emphasis on intergenerational connection, volunteering and the care of shared public space. Through Kultura má zelenou — General Call, 12 projects were selected to strengthen regional identity and the accessibility of culture. And through Kultura má zelenou — Visual Arts, together with the Foundation for Contemporary Art, we will support 5 projects that open a dialogue with the landscape and public space.
Among the supported projects are new premises for the Studánka MB family and community centre and the completion of the Spolková zahrada in Vrchlabí, the international slam poetry festival Boleslam and the J. I. Linek 300 concert series, the visual installation Nový atlas mraků by Tereza Severová and the audiovisual performance Auto Opera by Adam Michálek.
All applications go through a transparent multi-stage assessment against the criteria published in the grant rules. In addition, every grant programme has its own expert guarantor, who oversees the quality and relevance of the support.
Thank you to all applicants and partners, congratulations to the supported organisations, and we look forward to the projects that will bring our regions to life.
An overview of the supported projects for each call can be found in the .pdf files attached at the end of the article.
