Can city be a gallery? Yes! The StreetArt festival City=Gallery, which we initiated in Mladá Boleslav for the second time, brought not only new paintings.
The festival is built for all generations, there were workshops for schoolchildren and seniors. Everyone could become a part of the festival and a participant! It is no longer true that graffiti or other paintings on walls exist only in the form of vandalism.
How did the Street Art come about? We were very inspired by Bloomberg Philanthropies' efforts to transform America's industrial cities. Mladá Boleslav became a canvas for artistic expression.
