Until 28 February you again have the chance to nominate an interesting, exceptional building in your area for the second edition of the Mladá Boleslav Architecture Award. Nominations are now open. More information about applications here.

The Next Edition of the Mladá Boleslav Architecture Award Is Here!

For the second time, the regional competition is being organised by the Czech Centre for Architecture in cooperation with Pluhárna, thanks to a general partnership with the ŠKODA AUTO Endowment Fund, which has supported this second edition through the Kultura má zelenou (Culture Has the Green Light) grant call.

And how will it all turn out? Come find out at the gala awards ceremony on Thursday 24 April from 5 p.m. at Pluhárna. The evening will also include a moderated discussion with renowned architects.

Who took home an award in the first edition?

  • Mírová Community Centre (Mnichovo Hradiště, Projektil architekti)

  • and the Outpatient Building of the Dr Pírka Clinic (Klinika Dr. Pírka, Martin Rajniš, David Kubík)

The jury also presented five awards for special achievements:

  • the public transport interchange terminal in Mnichovo Hradiště

  • the multipurpose building Kafé Ořech in Mnichovo Hradiště

  • the riverside cycle path in Mladá Boleslav

  • the interior of the Pluhárna building in Mladá Boleslav

  • the P+R car park U Stadionu in Mladá Boleslav
