We're Launching Our Spring Grant Calls: Support for Communities, Culture and Tree Planting
We're launching another round of spring grant calls — to bring culture to life, support local communities and, this time, also to plant trees.
With the arrival of spring, we're launching another round of spring grant calls. Active individuals and regional associations from the Mladá Boleslav, Rychnov, Vrchlabí and Jilemnice areas can apply for support through our well-established programmes “Tady jsem doma”, “Kultura má zelenou — General Call” and “Kultura má zelenou — Visual Arts”. Among this year's novelties is the Škoda Stromky (Škoda Trees) grant with nationwide reach, which is now under our wing. You can find detailed information and submit applications HERE.
Tady jsem doma
To strengthen people's relationship with the place where they live, so they can say with pride — at home here. That's the aim of our grant programme of the same name, which supports civic initiatives and community projects in the regions. We help, for example, activities that develop neighbourly relationships, local traditions or the care of public space.
We run the programme in cooperation with the KOVO trade union and representatives of the non-profit sector. Applications are accepted from 11 March to 12 April 2026.
Kultura má zelenou — General Call
This grant has long supported the creation and delivery of cultural projects in the Mladá Boleslav, Rychnov, Vrchlabí and Jilemnice regions. Professional artists and non-profit organisations from across the Czech Republic can apply, provided their project brings concrete benefit to one of the named regions.
The expert guarantor is the Bohemian Heritage Fund. Applications can be submitted from 11 March to 26 April 2026.
Kultura má zelenou — Visual Arts
A specialised branch of the programme dedicated to visual art appears in the spring calls for the second time. We support projects that connect contemporary art with place and the people of the regions and bring new perspectives and forms of creation. The innovative nature of the project and the ability to work with personal experience and imagination are also key criteria.
Artists from across the Czech Republic can apply for the grant from 11 March to 15 May 2026. We announce the grant together with the Foundation for Contemporary Art, which is the expert guarantor of the call.
Škoda Stromky
For the first time, the spring calls include Škoda Stromky, which has long been one of ŠKODA AUTO's traditional activities. We're carrying on a twenty-year tradition of tree planting across the Czech Republic, and even after coming under the wing of our fund, the programme remains open to projects from anywhere in the country.
Those interested in volunteer tree planting and the care of greenery can submit applications from 1 March to 1 April 2026. The project partner is Nadace Partnerství.
For more than seven years we've been developing the regions where ŠKODA AUTO operates. Together with our partners we help improve public space, support active communities, and devote ourselves long-term to education and the accessibility of social services.
Thank you to the municipalities, schools, non-profits, partners and individuals who join us in this work to improve quality of life in the regions.
