New Visions for Culture and Forgotten Stories of the Mladá Boleslav Region are being sought.
This year, more than ever, we are aware that we cannot do without culture. Culture helps us to escape from reality, to relax and to better cope with difficult situations. However, the last few months have inflicted many painful wounds on Czech culture that will not heal without the help of all of us. Culture needs to be reactivated, and for this we need financial support and motivation for artists to bring new ideas, forms and projects.That is why the Foundation Fund is now launching two calls for artists and the public.
In cooperation with the Bohemian Heritage Fund, we are announcing an open grant call New Visions for Culture, which aims to kick-start culture in the Mladá Boleslav region after the coronavirus crisis and find new possibilities and art forms adapted to the changed conditions. This call will distribute CZK 1 100 000 among applicants. Interested applicants can submit their projects until 28 February 2021..
Do you know any interesting story connected with the Mladá Boleslav region? Do you have a historical artefact or archival photographs at home? Submit them to the Forgotten Stories of Mladá Boleslav Region challenge and help create a collective memory of the region. Interested parties can submit their projects until 31 March 2021.
