What influences a child's development? Far more than we usually think. That was one of the central themes of the Aspen Annual Conference 2026 in Prague, where early childhood was discussed as a strategic investment for society as a whole.
First Projects from This Year's Grant Calls Are Coming to Life Across the Regions
In spring we opened the Tady jsem doma and Kultura má zelenou grants, which bring together culture, community and regional identity. We supported a total of 58 projects that help people create, meet and improve the places where we live and work together.
650 People, Artificial Intelligence, an Industrial Robot — and Above All, the Courage to Try New Things 🤝
An open-air gallery has appeared at Pastelka Primary School, with paintings created by a robot following designs from more than 650 local residents. Thanks to the cooperation of the ŠKODA AUTO Endowment Fund with ŠKODA Design, it's clear that the language of design needn't be reserved for cars alone — it can also inspire in the everyday environments where people meet.
We're Launching Our Autumn Grant Calls: Family Care, Social Services, Nature and Scholarships for Secondary School Students
In September we kicked off the autumn round of grant programmes. Projects in the Mladá Boleslav, Rychnov and Vrchlabí areas can win support across the spectrum — from innovation in social services and help for carers, through nature and biodiversity protection, to scholarships for secondary school students for international stays.
