The advent of coronavirus has caused a major hit to socially disadvantaged families. Children began to have problems with distance learning, understanding the material, parents could not support their children because of their own lack of competence or because of their own problems. The intense contact between children and parents also led to conflicts, and combined with the lack of contact with peers and the stress of an uncertain future, young people responded with risky behaviour. Our goal is that we know and can use methods of working with youth at risk and at risk of social exclusion. We will set up prevention in Vrchlabí and Jilemnice beyond the school and social services.
